A social widget for professional services

Integrating social media initiatives into professional services has become a norm.

Take for example Maximize Social Media LLC’s recent launch of a social media program specific to dentists – a great niche. According to the press release – “The program’s main focus is creating a Facebook business page and managing pay per click advertising to attract new clients.”

This launch tells us quite a lot. Professional services are in demand for social media guidance. But, developing an effective social media program can be a process. So…why not start this process with a practical social media widget? A widget that will help these professionals connect with their prospective clients through Facebook, email, and business sites. Yes we are referring to Audioname.

According to the Senior Vice President of Maximize, Craig Collins, “Many dentists grow their practice by client word of mouth and referrals.” Professionals will be able to accurately promote their names on the web through Audioname  - this simple name pronunciation tool.  And why does this matter?  By hearing the names out loud, clients will feel a greater connection to these professionals. Which makes them more likely to repeat or refer a name if they feel comfortable pronouncing it.

Not only does Audioname apply to dentists, but it also applies to attorneys, realtors, and other professionals.  It’s a simple concept. Business is “social” and Audioname helps to initiate the conversation right from the first interaction.

Do you know the story behind the brand name Fage?

If you’ve ever purchased some Greek Yogurt, you’ve probably bought Fage. It’s a brand that has seen huge growth here in the United States during the recession. Furthermore, if you’ve ever purchased the yogurt, you may have noticed that on the label, they print the “pronunciation guide” for the name “Fa-yeh”.

Personally, that didn’t help me one bit in getting today’s name of the day’s correct pronunciation, but a news cast did:
